Overview
This course provides a foundational overview of U.S. labor and employment law, with a focus on how federal and California laws shape the modern workplace. Participants will explore the historical development of employment law, the role of courts and enforcement agencies, key statutory frameworks, and the legal doctrines governing the employer-employee relationship.

This course includes a 1-hour on-demand video presentation designed for intermediate-level attorneys. No advance preparation is required. The course was recorded in December 2025, and participants will receive a Certificate of Completion upon finishing the program.
